Rich and flavorful chocolate frosting that pairs perfectly with our Chocolate Cupcakes. Both made from 100% Unsweetened Baking Bars.
2 ounces (1 bar) GUITTARD 100% Unsweetened Chocolate, chopped
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
¼ cup water
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1½ cups confectioner’s sugar, sifted
While cupcakes are baking melt chocolate, butter and water in top of double boiler over low heat whisking constantly until melted and uniform. Remove from heat and mix in vanilla and confectioner’s sugar until smooth. Spread onto tops of cooled cupcakes.
