Dairy Free Chocolate Pudding

Tailor this to your chocolate preference. One package of GUITTARD dairy free extra dark chocolate chips creates a creamy cooked pudding the old fashioned way but is completely dairy free.

Ingredients

¼ cup (32g) cornstarch

1 quart (960g) dairy free milk of choice

1 package GUITTARD Akoma, Semisweet or Extra Dark Chocolate

2 teaspoons vanilla extract

Directions

In a medium saucepan whisk cornstarch with about ½ cup of dairy free milk until free of lumps. Pour in the remaining milk and continue whisking over medium heat for about 5 minutes until visibly thickened. Remove from heat and add chocolate chips, whisking until melted and mixture is smooth. Stir in vanilla and pour into a large bowl or ramekins or small cups for individual servings. Cover with plastic if you prefer your pudding without a skin on top.
