Easy to make and delicious to eat.
2 dozen 2 inch squares
2 cups (12 ounces) Guittard Semisweet Chocolate Chips
1/2 cup unsalted butter
4 large eggs
1 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons vanilla
1 ½ cups unsifted all-purpose flour
2 cups (12 ounces) Guittard Green Mint Baking Chips
Preheat oven to 350ºF. Grease 9x13x2 inch pan or line with foil.
Melt semisweet chips and butter in top of double boiler over low heat, stirring constantly until smooth. Remove from heat; set aside.
Combine eggs, sugar, salt and vanilla in medium mixer bowl. Mix in melted chocolate until smooth then flour just until combined. Stir in mint chips.
Turn batter into prepared pan. Bake 35-40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in center shows moist crumbs. Cool before cutting into 2 inch squares.
Microwave instructions: Heat semisweet chips and butter in small microproof bowl at medium power (50% or level 5) for 2-3 minutes, stirring well after each minute initially, then at 30 second intervals until smooth. Proceed as directed above.
